The team use machine learning to build models recommending stocks to analysts, based on a history of alpha-generating trade decisions. You will be responsible for the full process from start to finish - formulating the research question, data assembling from raw data in SQL, data exploration, evaluation of a range of models and implementation. You must therefore have excellent quant skills in addition to an interest in the workings of equity investing.The team are highly successful and the funds have extensive track records.
In order to apply you must have:
A PHD from a leading school in a quantitative subject
Excellent coding skills
An interest in Equity investing
A passion for Markets
Approval to work in the UK.
You responsibilities will include:
- Research the entire investment process of Long-Only Equity products.
- Researching factor based alpha generation models
- Portfolio construction and optimization methodologies
The ideal candidate will have a PHD + 1-3 years' experience in a quantitative position.
Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK without requiring sponsorship.
