The role we are hiring for is within Chief Compliance and Regulatory Officer (CCFO) team in Singapore. They are seeking to recruit a Compliance Officer to join the CCFO function
Support all aspects of the required process in identifying, developing and reporting Key Risk Indicators or KRIs for compliance risk management purposes.
Enhance the quality of underlying data and other information used in the construction of KRIs by implementing reconciliation and validation processes.
Participate in all efforts to automate the MI generation process by working closely with Technology to develop and roll out new platforms and facilities, and any other initiatives, as required.
Document the collection and sourcing process and establish delivery schedules for the receipt of data and information files needed for MI production and an audit trail for each published KRI to ensure that accuracy and completeness is verifiable by a third party.
Assist in publishing the regional MI report on a monthly basis for the APAC Chief Compliance and Regulatory Officer, and any other presentation decks, as needed.
To be considered for this role, you must able to offer
Undergraduate degree, preferably in accounting, finance or statistics
Strong analytical abilities with proven track record in publishing MI reports for organizations within the financial industry
Self-starter, able to work with little supervision and comfortable with meeting tight deadlines in a fast-moving working environment
High levels of Excel proficiency, including expertise in building macros
Excellent PowerPoint skills
Prior experience working in a compliance or control function within the banking or securities industry is an advantage
Past involvement in rolling out new technology solutions is also an advantage
Experience with Microsoft Access, Visio and/or SharePoint is a plus
