Our client is a premier asset manager with strong market positioning globally. Due to its continued expansion in Asia, it is seeking to recruit a high caliber Head of Compliance, Hong Kong / Greater China.
Reporting to Regional Head of Legal and Compliance and aligning to Global Compliance in HQ, you will provide compliance advice for Hong Kong and / or Greater China. You will provide regulatory advice on broad range of compliance matters including analysis and advice on regulatory developments impacting the business, and development, implementation and monitoring of compliance program for new businesses. You will devise and update appropriate compliance policies, deliver training and report key insights and information to the management. You will identify and articulate enhancements to the compliance monitoring framework based upon new regulatory developments and other internal initiatives.
Degree qualified, you possess relevant years of compliance experience gained in major asset managers. Hong Kong and / or Greater China exposure is a must. You are both strategic and operationally hands-on and thrive in a lean and dynamic environment. You are commercial in your approach, driven and possess strong communication and relationship building skills. You will have a detailed understanding of the local / regional regulatory environment and business practices.
