Gain exposure, in a challenging role, within our Commodities and Global Markets - Central Risk business function, in London. Joining this team will give you breadth in exposure to trades in Energy, Agricultural, Metals, Foreign Exchange, Fixed Income and Credit markets.
As Central Risk Analyst, you will assist the business with product valuations, risk methodologies and system improvements, including the evaluation of new products. You will develop management reporting, identify risk in systems and processes, and specify detailed requirements to bring about change, as well as advise and educate key business stakeholders to foster a culture of risk-based decision making. You will work closely with the back office and Risk Management to identify and resolve problems related to derivative transactions and derivative management systems and perform thorough financial risk and P&L analysis, particularly for derivatives and structured products
You will either be new to financial markets or have previously worked in a similar role, and you will have a client focused attitude, a curiosity to solve problems and be pro-active in identifying process improvements, with the skills and knowledge necessary to understand risk and trading systems used in commodity, fixed income, credit and equity markets. You will have programming experience, ideally in VBA, python, C/C++ and be highly numerate, and if you have previous experience in system implementation of regulatory or pricing models, including quantitative skills to analyse risk in derivatives and structured products this would be highly desirable.
