In this role you will undertake robust credit risk assessment of securitisation transactions, ensure the standard of credit analysis is of a consistently high quality and collaborate with the Fixed Income Structuring Team to review securitisation swap proposals as well as repo and reverse repo of ABS collateral with a balanced approach to materiality of risk bearing in mind risk and reward metrics.

As a Senior Securitisation Credit Partner your main responsibilities will be
Managing credit risk associated with a portfolio of securitisation transactions. You will be working with the relevant Front office colleagues to provide input to the structuring of transactions, prepare a balanced credit application, make recommendations and, on most occasions, present to the appropriate Credit Approval Authority.
Maintaining on-going effective management of credit risk for each transaction, ensuring that credit rating assessments are accurately undertaken using appropriate models and updated at relevant intervals when required.
Critically review submissions from Front Office Teams to ensure credit applications are considered to be of requisite quality. Provide feedback in timely manner to Front Office colleagues on all aspects of the paper, ensuring that all relevant financial and non-financial aspects are analysed in sufficient detail in order to identify credit risks and provide suitable mitigates.
Ensure credit papers are consistent, risk ratings have been diligently reviewed and challenged where appropriate and risk recommendations are balanced but decisive and clear for the approving authority.
Facilitate an efficient transaction process; by consistently displaying strong and effective deal and time management.
Provide Front Office Teams with support on any credit related issues during the negotiations with professional advisors including transaction documentation where specific credit risk involvement is required.
Minimum skills and experience required
Strong experience in the Risk Assessment of a broad range of Securitisation Transactions within the Financial Services Sector
In-depth knowledge of the appropriate modelling techniques, current relevant regulation and rating agency methodologies, together with an understanding of the credit risk aspects of legal documentation
Robust understanding of the credit risk aspects pertaining to relevant securitisation documentation
