As a Financial Crime Risk Assessment Manager you will annually co-ordinate and complete a robust Business Unit Risk Assessment for the Second Line FC function. Additionally you will review existing Business Unit Risk Assessments (BURA) and identify any changes.
In conjunction with the Head of Assurance you will also help create a monitoring plan that is underpinned by the risk assessment and the defined methodology.

As an FC Risk Assessment Manager your main responsibilities will be
Analyse the Business Unit Risk Assessments (BURA) identifying relevant risks and issues to San UK and propose remediation actions
Communicate findings to FC Management and Head of Assurance
Complete an annual risk assessment for the Second Line FC function
Assist in creating the monitoring plan underpinned by the risk assessment and defined methodology whilst regularly reviewing the methodology and plan
Produce regular MI and reporting on risk assessment for Senior Management and feeding into key governance meetings as well as supporting the Assurance team when required
Minimum skills and experience required
Previous experience in an assurance/monitoring or audit role. Risk assessment experience strongly preferred
Strong analytical skills including advanced statistics
Good working knowledge of global legislation and regulatory frameworks for Financial Crime (AML, Sanctions and ABC)
Previous experience in the Financial Services industry and knowledge of Corporate products and service
Ability to engage with Senior Stakeholders to a high level
