Corporate & Investment Banking: Global Transaction Banking The Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) combines Deutsche Bank's Corporate Finance, Global Markets and Global Transaction Banking businesses. This new business division was created in 2017 with the aim to ensure greater alignment of product and sales efforts, enabling the bank to deliver a better service to clients and a more focused resource allocation. Global Transaction Banking (GTB) is a leading global provider of cash management, trade finance and securities services, delivering the full range of commercial banking products and services for both corporates and institutions worldwide. Position Overview
Trust & Agency Services ("TAS") business division is an important part of Global Transaction Banking of Deutsche Bank. Depositary Receipts ("DR") is a fast growing business line within TAS. The role will have a primary focus on DR sales support functions contributing to strong growth of our book of issuer clients within Greater China, which represents a key opportunity and a major strategic focus for the bank. Additionally the candidate over time will take on more responsibilities within TAS Sales in APAC region and connecting with other parts of the bank. Key Responsibilities
Assist the senior sales team to perform support and administration in the whole process of sales execution, including:
Collect market intelligence on prospective business and deal origination
Prepare pitchbooks and proposals, pricing models, etc
Input and update sales MIS database and systems
Fulfill sales compliance checkpoints
Coordinate and follow up documentation, KYC and other aspects of sales execution
Initiate and reach out to clients, prospects and intermediary business partners to deliver pitches and sales calling activities for good business results
Work with the various coverage teams to identify priority names and - or client segments, leveraging the bank for effective wins
Identify cross sell - referral opportunities and maximize collaborations with other business divisions of the bank
Collaborate closely with product and client service and operation teams
Ensure strict compliance with the bank's Safety and Soundness policies for risk management and business control
The incumbent will report to the Head of DR Sales in Asia Pacific.
Sound client management and sales experience including prospecting, influencing, partnership and execution skills
Strong at inter-personal communications, and business acumen
Close relationships with and accesses to the issuer space, preferably at senior level
Good networks with market intermediaries incl. investment banks, VC-PE investors, law firms, auditors, IR-PR consultants, etc.
A proactive "can do" attitude and strong ethic for originating and closing deals.
An ability to forge strong relationships, both internally across the Bank, and as a "trusted adviser" to key contacts at clients.
A collaborative, communicative and partnership-based approach, working with colleagues across GTB and the broader bank.
An ability to work with confidential information and use discretion with sensitive material and issues.
Can work under pressure & a tight execution deadline
Detail-driven and responsible working attitude
A strong team player
Good proficiency in Mandarin, English, both spoken & written. Cantonese communication is a plus
Good commend of Powerpoint, Excel, etc.
5+ years relevant working experience
