Job Description The Depositary Services team within Global Custody and Agency Services (GCAS) provides depositary services to UCITS and Alternative fund structures (AIFs), as well as performing depositary lite functions. Such core responsibilities include acting solely in the interests of funds' shareholders, to hold in safekeeping the funds' assets and to provide oversight on the funds' activities.
Reporting to the Depositary Services Supervisor, the Depositary Analyst will be responsible for the day-to-day monitoring of client funds to ensure compliance with the requirements of the Central Bank of Ireland, the funds' constitutional documents and internal procedures and policies. This will include ensuring the following day to day operational activities are conducted in an efficient and timely manner;
Monitoring regulatory and prospectus investment restrictions, calculations of the funds NAVs and Transfer Agency activities and escalation with such counterparties (Investment Manager/Administrator) as appropriate
Daily cash flow monitoring and asset verification checks
Investigation and escalation of breaches, pricing and other errors to Management and/or Administrator/IM and updating the regulatory / prospectus breach and error registers
Contributing to the ongoing enhancement of procedures
Participation in onsite visits to Administrators, Investment Managers and Global Sub Custodian
Dealing promptly with ad hoc queries and projects relating to the funds under supervision
The Depositary Analyst will be expected to bring ongoing fund reviews to completion stage for sign off by Management in line with procedures.

The ideal candidate will;
Have a third level qualification in a relevant discipline (eg: business, law)
Have relevant/related experience with in Depositary / Fund Administration sector
Exhibit an appreciation of fund structures, fund Regulations including UCITS Regulations and AIFMD
Demonstrate strong communication, presentation and analytical skills, with excellent attention to detail
Demonstrate good time management, an ability to meet deadlines and be self motivated
Possess the ability to review outputs from an investment compliance and cash monitoring system
Have the ability to work and connect in a team environment, with other departments, external clients and fund counterparties
Display excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
