A Leading banking organisation based in London requires a Cass Business Manager to join the team on a contract basis. The client requires a candidate with previous experience as a Cass Business Manager with knowledge of the CISI or equivalent qualification. This is a six month rolling contract at £600 per day.
Reporting to the Head of CASS Business Management the key objectives are:
Assisting with the oversight of client assets and custody under the FCA CASS rules
Assisting with the oversight of the operational effectiveness of the firm's systems and controls that are designed to achieve compliance with CASS and other rules
Ensure Management Team have up to date, accurate and detailed risk and control documentation to support the operation of Conduct operational, conduct and compliance risk assessments
Strong experience in CASS 6 in the financial services industry
Exposure to financial services and regulatory developments
Must demonstrate ability to work under pressure in an environment heavily influenced by immovable regulatory compliance deadline
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Exposure to working with geographically distributed teams
Excellent stakeholder management skills
Excellent team worker, able to work in virtual global teams in a matrix organization
Ability to work in fast paced environment and deal with a sudden change in priorities
Open minded, able to share information, transfer knowledge and expertise to/from team members
Keep pace with technical innovation and market driven initiatives
Excellent communication skills, fluent in English (written/verbal)
Can work autonomously
Microsoft office expertise (MS Excel, MS Word, MS Powerpoint)

Internal, external audit and compliance monitoring management and remediation.
CASS Risk and Control Mapping – ad hoc updates and annual review
Policy and Procedure review and maintenance
CASS breach and remediation review and tracking
Completing business analysis required for CASS impacted processes
Providing key stakeholders with regular and ad-hoc reports on progress, recommendation etc
The continued strengthening of processes and controls in the client asset area.
