Our client, a global financial institution is looking for a Business Developer who will lead the sales and business performance as well as be responsible for driving profitable growth by acquiring, developing and servicing long-term relationships with clients in the target markets of the bank.
Build and expand the portfolio within the Securities Services / Fund Administration Division in the target markets.
Evaluate the risks involved in the business, taking into consideration legal and regulatory requirements as well as the impact of technological advancements.
Manage all procedural documentation accordingly.
Establish and sustain new business relationships by the new business procedures of the institution.
Preparation of contracts, board minutes, minutes to the AGM, Power of Attorney's documents.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop bespoke solutions for client needs.
Communicate new methods and procedures on a fund to all relevant staff.
Coordinate with other departments on different fund queries and reconciliations.
Be responsible for identifying and recruiting clients (fund promoters and asset managers) for the business.
The preferred candidate must have an extensive network and business development experience in Trust Business and Securities Services or Fund Administration and demonstrate a strong understanding of Latin America market. Fluency in Portuguese is essential. You should also possess excellent communication and leadership skills and be able to interact at all levels of business efficiently.
