Our client is a PE real estate fund management company (over US$400 million of AUM). The company brings institutional-grade commercial real estate deals to its high net worth and family office clients via a regulated platform.
They are looking to hire a Investor Relation or Business Development Manager, with 5 - 8 years of experience in the financial services, investment sales or banking industries, with good understanding of Real Estate investment products.
Investor Relation /Business Development Manager is responsible for conducting the administration of investment products and services. He/ She must market and sell financial products and services to potential clients. He/ She offers advice and representation of the product of the company.
He/ She may also prepare various reports and correspondence, maintain files and databases and verify financial data. Responsibilities include providing strategies and suggestions to clients. He/ She also provide administrative support for matters relating to investors and other business development matters.
He/ She often need to attend investment-related conventions, meetings and seminars. They may be required to travel frequently to meet with potential and existing clients.
Internal: Investor Relations, Investment and Management teams
External: clients and contacts
Sourcing potential investors, marketing and distributing the company's products
Management and coordination of the entire investor process, including onboarding, KYC/AML screening, subscription, payments, and ongoing monitoring using specialised screening tools.
Liaison with fund administrators for Singapore and non-Hong Kong based investors.
Managing and coordinating investor reporting, client communication and marketing materials alongside IR and Investment teams.
Coordination of all external distribution / introducer arrangements.
Coordination of client events, including invitations, event management, and follow-up.
Collating and tracking fundraising pipeline and preparing reports for senior management in coordination with Hong Kong team.
Degree in accounting, finance, economics preferred.
Good understanding of Real Estate investment products will be a plus
"Fit & Proper" in accordance with MAS licensed representative requirements
5 - 8 years of experience in the financial services, investment sales or banking industries
Prior client facing experience and good track record is a must
Excellent interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving ability with strong written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated and proactive, both with respect to managing workload and own professional development
Good organizational skills and ability to prioritise work to meet deadlines
Enthusiastic and motivated to succeed in a team environment
