The global leading producer of biomass products as an environmentally friendly source of fuel is expanding their Sales & Marketing team.
Their mission is to link producers to energy consumers, providing clients on an international scale with biomass fuels to improve the environmental profile of energy generation.
As part of the portfolio management team, the Commercial Analyst will support the sales and marketing team. With a focus on contract execution, shipment scheduling, price forecasting, and revenue & cost optimization - the Commercial Analyst will also manage and work to improve the internal approval process for new sales and shipping contracts.
Partner with the Sales & Marketing team to conduct financial, cost/benefit, and scenario analysis to find optimal solutions to logistical and operational challenges.
Collaborate with the finance team to forecast their financial performance
Manage the internal sign off process for sales and shipping contracts throughout the organization.
Assist global Sales and Marketing team in making strategic decisions related to pricing, market targets, as well as new business development.
Bachelor's degree, preferably in a quantitative focus or finance.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience; investment banking, financial planning & analysis, accounting/audit, complex sales or trading (FX, fixed income, etc.) or other contract-oriented experience is highly preferred.
Strong operational or financial modelling skills and highly proficient at PowerPoint and utilization of complex Excel models is crucial.
