State Street's Business Development team in EMEA play a key role in driving the growth of the Global Exchange business across Data, Analytics and Information based Solutions. The selected candidate will solicit new business and clients for a broad range of Technology Solutions.
Candidate will join the EMEA business development team responsible for representing a suite of analytics and data management offerings to potential and existing State Street clients across multiple client sectors.
Using a solutions-oriented approach, work with clients and prospects to ascertain their needs and offer targeted solutions to meet those needs
Perform product demonstrations and have a good level of technical expertise in the field of investment analytics.
Develop and maintain relationships with State Street sector sales and relationship managers to create and execute client and sector-specific sales strategies
Proactively solicit client and prospect feedback regarding new product initiatives and future product development; provide feedback to business development, research and product development teams
Represent State Street at industry events and conferences
Contribute to pipeline and management reporting and maintain timely call notes in Salesforce
Skills and experience
Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or economics; CFA, CAIA, FRM or any similar post-graduate certification would be preferred
Proven consultative selling experience and ability to build and maintain successful client relationships
Self-starter, creative and takes an entrepreneurial approach to prospecting and building pipeline.
Personality to work within a large organization and use that to great effect to scale our business.
Deep network of industry contacts in the analytics space.
Excellent presentation, communication, and organizational skills
Proactive, driven, highly motivated team player
