A rarely available permanent Regulatory Reporting Business Change Manager has become available at a market leading Electronic Trading firm in London.
The Regulatory Reporting Business Change Manager will support the electronic trading business in a permanent capacity. You will be accounting for regulatory reporting requirements that impact all electronic traded products and services, ensuring the firm's alignment with industry regulation pertaining to MiFID II and ongoing external regulatory reporting requirements.
The electronic business in London has identified the need to hire a Regulatory Reporting Business Change Manager to provide independent oversight, review and challenges across regulatory reporting framework for the European and Asian electronic trading business. Working with Senior Management to support the firm's external submissions to juridical regulators based in the UK, Europe, US and Asia the role offers excellent global coverage and scope.
Principal responsibilities - Regulatory Reporting Business Change Manager
Provide independent assessment and advisory expertise across regulatory reporting requirements impact electronic trading.
Accounting for new regulation impacting electronic trading, transaction reporting, best execution process and external regulatory reporting requirements.
Oversight of regulatory reporting framework, engaging with regulatory reporting business as usual teams to review current regulatory reporting process, controls, systems and producing detailed technical business analysis "As-Is" and "To-Be" and gaps across the current reporting framework.
Design and produce business solutions around improving electronic trade reporting process, systems, controls and present solutions to senior management for approval and implementation.
Work with IT and Central Change team to deliver improvements across the Electronic Trading Reporting Framework.
Produce Management Metrics and Dashboards to illustrate business performance and reporting status.
Update the firm's Policy and Control Framework for regulatory reporting ensuring check and balances are embedded to adhere to regulatory guidelines.
Lead and run governance workshops across the regulatory reporting business teams including Front Office, Trading Operations, Risk, Compliance, Finance, IT and Central Change Management.
Be hands on in undertaking business analysis and project management responsibilities and leading the front to back review and delivery of new reporting framework.
Prerequisite Requirements- Regulatory Reporting Business Change Manager
*Proven experience supporting Electronic Trading business within a leading Brokerage or Investment Bank.
* Subject Matter Expert within Regulatory Reporting to juridical Regulatory bodies and understanding current MiFID guidelines.
*Current experience implementing new control frameworks, reporting systems, procedures/processes and training for Regulatory Reporting.
*Strong product knowledge with detailed understanding across Equities, Fixed Income, FX and Derivatives.
*Business Analysis and Project Management experience and skills; Prince 2 / Agile / Waterfall methodologies.
* Delivery track record and ability to define process, controls and systems improvements relating to external regulatory reporting.
* Cross Functional business understanding, ideally supporting Regulatory Reporting in a Risk, Compliance or Finance capacity.
* Experience working with External IT Vendors providing trading and reporting systems.
