Fidelity Multi Asset team provide expertise in Solutions Design, Tactical Asset Allocation, Strategy Selection and Risk Management, responding to the individual needs of clients by designing investment strategies with risk-awareness at their heart. We manage almost £30bn in assets across a wide range of clients, from personal investors saving into their ISA to multi-billion dollar institutions. The Multi Asset Performance & Analytics team provides active support to the Multi Asset Investment Management and Investment Directing functions thought the provision of accurate and timely analytics - primarily investment performance, attribution, risk (ex-ants and ex-post). The main consumers of the analytics are portfolio managers, fund analysts, client reporting teams and RFP related requests, therefore knowledge of flagship Multi Asset products is essential. The team work closely with Fidelity Technology and Data Operations teams to ensure accurate data and processes are in place to support ongoing production quality.
Purpose of your role
This role will support Multi Asset Research and Investment Directing teams' data requirements. This includes the production and updating of regular monthly performance reports and data files, ensuring accurate loading and quality control of data into our research systems and the production of analytics.
Your key accountabilities
Delivery of analytics and reporting to support Multi Asset including:
Research: Regular reporting including production of External Manager Research packs and performance reviews
Investment Directing: Regular reporting to support client reporting deliverables
Ad hoc requests
Use of external systems including Style Research and Factset
Understanding of internal systems that deliver performance, attribution and risk analytics
Support the maintenance of model portfolios
Provide coverage for tasks to support the overall team's workload
Experience and Qualifications Required
Educated to degree level
Advanced Excel with expertise in pivot tables, macros etc.
Accuracy and attention to detail are essential
Good communicator comfortable working with Investment Professionals at all levels
Able to work to deadlines and collaborate with others
Able to demonstrate initiative by identifying and improving on existing working processes
Demonstrate flexibility and the ability to prioritise workload
Solution-oriented, focused on resolving problems and making improvements
Team player, self-starter and proactive.
Desirable although not essential skills
Experience in a financial services organisation
Investment Management qualification (IAQ/SII or IMC)
