Our client is an international asset management firm with an extensive international presence. To cope with their business expansion, they are seeking an outstanding candidate to join them.
You will be responsible for writing content for branded client reports, RFPs and DDQs and marketing and prospecting collateral. You will create monthly, quarterly, as well as semi-annual and annual written content, provide insight into portfolio management decisions. Your main outputs will include quarterly review reports in standard and customized branded formats as well as monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, annual, and ad hoc reports and client letters in customized formats. You will build close working relationships with portfolio analysts / portfolio specialists to stay abreast of market developments and portfolio changes in real time for assigned strategies and broad asset class. You need to understand portfolio performance attribution, positioning and strategic purchases and sales or actionable insight in client reports for assigned strategies. Deliver a high volume of reports under strict deadlines, balancing the need for speed and efficiency with quality analysis and crisp writing. You will create or revise core content to reflect product launches or changes in existing strategies or competitive environment. Lastly, you should have strong marketing discipline in writing core content, using clear and succinct messaging to call out client benefits and competitive differentiation.
To qualify for the position, you should be a Degree holder in with a minimum of 7 years' relevant experience as an investment writer or editor. You should be able to produce standard marketing collateral to support marketing and sales. You should have strong investment marketing communications skills to clearly identify main messages, client benefits as well as versatile writing skills to create content for range of formats, including marketing brochures, manager interviews, web content and placed articles. You should have the ability to write about complex concepts in an interesting and engaging style together with strong knowledge of financial markets. Lastly, you should be a Native / bilingual English speaker.
