Support portfolio manager on in-depth fundamental financial research and credit analysis on Asia small/mid cap
Conduct market research, industry and corporate financial analysis and due diligence exercise
Identify potential investment opportunities and prepare investment reports and proposals
Conduct periodic corporate financial analysis renewal and maintain clear and updated documentation in all credit files including financial statements, financial spreading, investment research report, valuation model etc
Responsible for report and update of macro economy, industry development, significant business events, financial trends and other relevant issues relating to financial position of the funds
Assist in business development, investment administration, special credit related assignments and projects as required
We support local hire with solid relevant working experience in HK.
Degree holder in Finance, Economics, and Statistics or equivalent disciplines, CFA preferred
3 years of experience on financial/equity/credit research, Experience of fixed income investment analysis is a strong plus
Qualified to be registered under SFC in relevant regulated activities
Good knowledge of fundamental research and valuation. Can articulate his/her investment ideas and research analysis well
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese including Putonghua
Excellent interpersonal skills in communication with diverse groups internally and externally
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Able to work on multiple tasks and capable of resolving issues under tight deadlines
