The Account Manager provides comprehensive guidance to their clients regarding family office structures and best practices with particular attention to investments, tax, banking, insurance, and trust and estate needs. This includes communicating strategy directly to the client and independently managing the client relationships. Additional responsibilities include, discussing and verifying client objectives, recommending and executing appropriate structures and identifying opportunities to expand the relationship and increase client satisfaction. In addition, Account Managers will be an escalation point ensuring accuracy of information flowing to clients and problem solving any issues. The Account Manager will collaborate on potential new business opportunities; and enhance and expand the firm s relationships with Centers of Influence within the Family Office market. In partnership with Wealth Directors, Wealth Manager, Fiduciary Specialists and Private Bankers, he/she will be responsible for developing current and future fee business.
Qualifications The incumbent will have an undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience with 6 plus years of experience working with family offices, and has managed larger client relationships. The qualified candidate must be self motivated and possess very strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills as this position deals directly with key clients and prospects as well as executives from external referral networks. Understand client structure, goals and strategy. Identify opportunities to expand the relationship increasing client revenues and continually improving client satisfaction. Insure accuracy of information flowing to client and problem solving. Provide comprehensive guidance to the client regarding structure, best practices with respect to investments, fiduciary, and banking needs. Engaging the appropriate subject matter experts when necessary. Collaborate with Wealth Directors on potential new business opportunities and enhance firm's relationship with Centers of Influence. Insure accuracy of information flowing to client and problem solving. Develop and deliver ongoing reporting while analyzing opportunities to add value.
