The Nominated Officer Team Manager reports into the Nominated Officer and supports them with the execution of their accountabilities through a varied set of responsibilities. Implementing a robust law-enforcement liaison capability and maintaining the quality of investigations a SAR disclosures within Santander UK.

As a Nominated Officer Team Manager your main responsibilities will be
Day to day management of the Nominated Officer Analyst team
Leading reviews of Financial Crime processes and procedures to ensure that at all times there is an effective and appropriate process for the internal submission and investigation of SARs
Working with investigative teams, including SAR Disclosure Unit, Court Order Unit, and Financial Intelligence Unit, providing FC subject matter expertise on an advisory basis
Supporting the law-enforcement liaison strategy, deputising for the Nominated Officer, where required, including attendance at industry bodies and direct engagement. Sharing findings and law-enforcement expectations with senior management and investigative teams, as appropriate
Working with the Divisions to both strength the FC culture in the organisation and enhance their review and investigation processes and to maintain the quality of internal SARs.
Minimum skills and experience required
Prior experience working within FC Compliance, responsibilities to have included law-enforcement liaison and oversight of investigative processes
Strong working knowledge of the global legislative and regulatory framework for FC (AML) and a strong understanding of SAR reporting and Consent Regime
Experience of working in the Financial Services industry
Ability to build and lead a highly skilled team dealing with investigations with high customer and regulatory impact
Excellent communication skills both written and oral
Strong process facilitation, project management and analytical skills
