Our client is an international asset management firm with an international presence. To cope with their business expansion, they are seeking an outstanding candidate to join them.
Analyze and interpret investment-related data to help inform Investment Management's decision making process and support operational capabilities to deliver performance services for clients and for complex products and /or securities. An ability to utilize a wide variety of investment and performance and attribution tools, as well as to develop custom solutions is required. Demonstrates mastery of analytical methods and tools by responding to complex ad-hoc analytical and reporting requests on daily basis from Investment Management and Global Client reporting teams. Serves as a subject matter expert on performance, benchmark, attribution and statistical data, acting as a resource to immediate team and the firm as a whole. Proactively follows industry trends and engages with business partners to anticipate new data requirements. Understands and works to eliminate source data gaps, and efficiently designs and implements new performance, benchmark, and statistical calculations in line with established best practices.
Develop and promote new applications and/or capabilities for systems and tools to advance analytical concepts for the benefit of Performance & Analysis outputs and services to clients. Responsible for analyzing and defining business issues, opportunities, and enhancements and implementing solutions. Independently leads moderate to complex projects and/or enhancements to existing processes, including oversight and execution of development, testing, implementation, post-implementation support, and adoption within the organization. Responsible for using sound business judgment, technical knowledge, strong execution, excellent client service and project management experience in order to navigate institutional business lines.
To qualify for the position, you should be a Degree holder with a minimum of 10 years of experience in investment analysis including experience performance analysis, fixed income/equity stock research, and/or quantitative analysis. Investment management industry experience. Business partner to investment, quant and client reporting areas. Deep technical knowledge of performance, GIPS, and global financial markets and processes. Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Experience with attribution (i.e. Barra, FactSet, Wilshire, Barclay's Point/ BBG PORT).
