2 x Business Analysts with a strong background within Financial Services, preferably Top Tier Banks, to join our team of specialist consultants.
The successful candidate will work on site in Belfast and take part in a data lineage project currently being undertaken by our client. You will primarily be analyzing the flow of data in the company's systems from its initial entry to when it is stored and used in strategic data repositories.
Your main duties will include:
Documenting the systems, transformations and processes that the data goes through in its journey throughout the business.
Liaising with internal departments within the business, conducting information retrieval interviews and recording and analyzing the feedback you receive.
Identifying system gaps and errors and escalating these. Establishing high level timelines for remediation

An excellent education record - BSc/BA/LLB or higher degree, 2.1 or better essential
4+ years' experience within financial services, specifically top-tier investment banks
Notable experience as a BA/PM
Data Mapping experience
Trading and Product Knowledge - OTC Derivatives, ETDs (Exchange Traded Derivatives), cash securities and SFTs (Securities Financing Transactions) etc.
Mix of good organizational skills, people skills and ability to catch onto things quickly
Ability to make decisions under pressure and face off to senior stakeholders and know how to present effectively.
Excellent interpersonal and client engagement skills: An ability to communicate in a positive, friendly and outgoing manner with staff at the client site whether face-to-face or by telephone or email
Ability to prioritize your workload to meet business needs
Ability to work under pressure in dynamic and fast paced environments
