An exciting opportunity as a Financial Analyst within FP&A is available for a talented individual to work in our growing Dublin office.
The Financial Planning & Analysis team (FP&A) is part of the Chief Financial Office (CFO). Our team works across all lines of business within the region with offshore support from India. The team's key responsibilities include:
Reporting, analysing and communicating performance to senior partners and external parties
Presentations and key materials for external partners to support strategic priorities, including regulators
Executive Support, working across businesses and support functions and with the executive team
Market & Competitor Insight: Global benchmarking and producing strategic insights for senior leadership to drive priorities
Strategic/Ad-Hoc Projects: Dedicatedly identifying new opportunities and supporting major cross-LOB projects & initiatives

What will your main responsibilities involve?
The role is highly dynamic and challenging and will involve working across all of Financial Planning & Analysis's responsibilities, including:
Regional and Legal Entity Performance Analysis and Executive Support:
Ad-hoc analysis, presentations and briefings for senior partners for internal and external audiences
Country performance analysis for senior management and country leadership teams
Presentations for external parties on regional and key legal entity performance and associated briefing materials
Legal Entity and Regional Strategy and Planning
Contributing to major cross-line of business projects and initiatives
Support for Country Strategic Reviews, working with local offices to produce plans for senior management
Market and Competitor Insight:
Competitor performance analysis including benchmarking
Consolidated analysis of peer group performance
Monitor news flow / market developments / analyst reports to provide updates and insights to senior management

Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified) with good accounting skills and an eye for detail, or having equivalent experience
A standout colleague who is able to produce high quality,i accurate output in a high-energy environment
Very good presentation skills: ability to present key messages, recommendations and information in a clear and insightful way (experienced user of PowerPoint to external presentation standard)
Very good communication skills: You can communicate effectively both in writing and verbally and to feel comfortable delivering financial analysis, insights and recommendations
Solid financial reporting and modelling skills including the ability to build well-controlled spreadsheets and source appropriate and meaningful data
An interest in the investment banking industry and a deeep understanding of key trends and performance drivers
You will be versatile, able to work across business lines and support areas and communicate well with senior executives and leaders
Be enthusiastic, keen to learn and quick to gain an understanding of complex issues and concepts
Be able to derive and effectively communicate concise, impactful and actionable insights from detailed analysis and deliver to senior individuals
Take personal responsibility for delivering high quality work under tight timescales and demonstrate an ability to drive projects / tasks to completion
