Events Administrator, London
Supporting the events team in running the conference programme to include (but not limited to): Liaising with companies attending conferences – being their main point of contact and organising their logistics
Attending all major conferences (travel required)
Assisting with branding ideas
Sorting badges for each conference onsite
Printing and preparing documentation Conference set-up
Assisting with meeting turn-around where required
Helping on the registration desk when required
Packing boxes for upcoming conferences and unpacking on return
Booking travel for the team
Running the ticketing calendar
Staying in control of conference related stock
Keeping the events cupboard neat
General events administration and assisting with other ad hoc duties
Arranging timely payment of invoices
Assisting with events organisation (including helping onsite to run events and running smaller events)
Getting invites printed and ensuring the stands are up to date
Previous office experience within a similar environment, a knowledge of events would be beneficial but not essential
Excellent MS office skills - to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Excellent time management and strong organisational skills - be self-motivated and comfortable in a fast moving and ever changing environment.
Professional approach: well-presented and an excellent telephone manner.
Comfortable liaising with clients and staff at all levels within the company on a business and social level.
Able to work autonomously or as part of a team as and when required.
Good attention to detail.
Efficient and proactive.
