A high growth Luxembourg based international financial services company is seeking to appoint a commercially minded Director level individual into a newly created role. This position would be an ideal career move for someone with a background in fund accounting and fund admin and/or corporate services and/or fiduciary administration looking to move out of a business as usual role into an account management role that would be more business facing and strategic in outlook.
The company have about 250 people in Luxembourg and offer a vast array of outsourcing services to the asset management and family office world covering all aspects of back and middle office administration. They're well known internationally and have a network of over 20 offices globally which ensures a plentiful pipeline of new clients and enviable network of specialist colleagues.
This role would oversee and directly/indirectly manage a multi-disciplinary team and client base, acting as the key point of contact for clients – typically CFOs, COOs, MDs/Partners. You'll act as the primary point of contact ensuring all deliverables are hit and co-ordinating all outsourced services internally. You'll be regarded as a genuine subject matter expert and will be expected to manage as well as grow your client portfolio, working closely with the business development and sales team. This is likely to include involvement in client pitches, pricing and other sales related activities. Given the scope of responsibilities, it's likely your role will also include significant ad hoc project work and involvement in a host of internal projects.
It's likely you will be coming from a line management role in the asset management sector with a preference for people who know and understand private equity, real estate, debt/credit funds and alike. Experience in a fund administration, fiduciary or professional services firm would be preferred and the firm is very open to considering people who would like to re-locate to Luxembourg (EU Passport or relevant Visa needed – unfortunately they cannot sponsor). You're likely to have at least 10-15 years or equivalent experience and be operating in a senior leadership role.
Comp on offer is €100-120k base depending on experience plus bonus and full benefits.
