FIS Front Arena At FIS Front Arena in Stockholm we have been building systems for financial trading, risk management and position control for 30 years. Our systems enable banks, hedge funds and other financial institutions make critical decisions with confidence, execute their orders and follow up their positions independent of the asset class: equities, commodities, rates or FX. Whether the trade is done through an exchange or over the counter, we've got it covered. But that's just part of the story. In short, we support the whole electronic trading process from sell-side to buy-side and front-to-back.
Your role You will be part of one of our most important client facing support teams based in Stockholm, that serve our major client base in Europe, Middle East, and Africa. The team supports our industry leading portfolio and risk management software from a functional application perspective.
As an experienced support person in the team you will be challenged with a wide range of tasks, spanning from analyzing and resolving incoming application issues from major banks, hedge funds, and asset managers that are critical for daily operations of many of our global clients. We will also offer you technical and functional challenges such as valuation of financial instruments, risk handling, life cycle from creating a trade to sending swift payments and producing automatic reports. Understanding customer requirements and solving problems is an integral part of the job.
The team works very closely and is co-located with development in Stockholm, and that working relationship allows the individuals to build in-depth knowledge of our product and therefore the ability to provide a very high level of support to our customer base.
A number of team are currently taking internal mobility into development as part of their career progression, after many years of service in the support team, hence the need to attract new talent into the team. Our longest serving staff in the client services team in Stockholm have been in the team for over 17 years, and the average length of service is over 9 years, making this a great place to develop your career over the long term and build very specialist knowledge of our product, customer base and also the financial markets.

Engineering degree or similar

Experience in financial markets
Experienced with Front Arena architecture and any of the different techniques used, for example ADFL, Python, ACM, AEL, ASQL (SQL)
Experience in application support
