We are currently looking for Middle Office Analyst, Financial Markets Operations.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Processes Client Information and Assistance to FX Sales team and various stakeholders:
Coordinate with front office and other support teams, locally and globally, to address trade related enquiries and issues.
Develop standard processes to route customer queries to correct department for timely resolution.
Assist dealers in terms of investigations and problem resolution.
Resolve trade discrepancies caused from trade failures, breaks, etc.
Provide support to new business dealt through Authorise Overseas Offices (AOO) framework.
Act as a contact / liaison person for traders in London office on Malaysia process flow.
Reconcile all required deals from S2B / Feds / relevant booking systems.
Monitor and provide maintenance support on all past due FX contracts, EOD timer deals and relevant reports that are provided by back office support.
Input deals/ transactions (FX, money market) that have been concluded by licensed onshore dealers into the respective booking system.
Attend to clients request and inquiries and provide administrative support including daily reports updates (EOD report), rate and contract numbers confirmation and EOD timer options deals to be below 90 days.
Ensure timely turnaround for all Inward TTs / Trade items.
Execute ETU/OPTU & RPR in FEDS. (or relevant booking system).
Ensure all contracts and rates are executed correctly for all inward/outward TT/Trade.
Ensure no excesses and reconcile all MTM take ups and extensions.
Provide excellent and outstanding customer service if required.
People and Talent
Upgrade knowledge & skill-set through training or others means to ensure effective discharge of duties.
Aspire to obtain PPKM licensing for dealers.
Risk Management Compliance Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with Group's standards and regulatory requirements of front office support.
Exercise due care & diligence in ensuring Financial Market code of conduct as well as relevant regulatory and compliance processes and procedures are upheld at all times.
Ensure reports are accurate and provide proper maintenance of safekeeping records for easy retrieval.
Run daily risk checks and accordingly generate risk reports.
Monitor internal and inter-branch dealing to identify/escalate potential fraudulent or unusual trading activity.
Ensure all transactions comply with Hard Margin requirements per Financial Market sales policy.
Ensure MIFID regulations are complied.

Qualifications & Skills:
Proficient understanding of Financial Markets Sales business.
Proficient understanding of market trends.
Proficient in regulatory requirements, Foreign exchange Administrative guidelines, Mifid, pricing guidelines, internal policies and procedures.
High standard of ethics and adhere strictly to FM code of conduct.
Good interpersonal skills and a team player.
Able to articulate and communicate well.
Technically strong, numerate, focussed and good Microsoft Excel skills.
Posses Professional Banker certification will be an added advantage.
