Our client is a renowned and global investment firm. It is now looking to hire an AD IR and Corporate Finance in its team.
A. Debt Investors and Debt Capital Markets
Lead or part of core team for cross-functional institutional projects, such as debt investor engagement including global investor meetings, debt investor landscape analysis, bond issuances, debt capital markets consultation paper responses, etc.
Develop investor relations programme, craft messaging for bond investors, prepare presentations and other material on financial performance/results
Lead engagement with investors, banks, lawyers, regulators, etc.
B. Credit Analysis and Ratings
Lead cross-functional institutional projects, such as determining the appropriate credit ratios to assess credit quality, defining the optimal debt limit and liability framework for the firm, and engaging with senior management and the Board for approval
Lead engagement with rating agencies on the firm's credit rating, lead asessment of changes to rating framework and engagement with rating agencies on such framework changes, lead analysis of credit landscape and market/regulatory developments
Provide in house ratings advisory to investment teams across multiple sectors, run simulations and analysis on impact to various entities' credit ratings to the firm based on certain scenarios
C. Shareholder Engagements and Projects
Lead engagement with shareholder on national-level and institutional projects, such as responses to parliamentary questions, firm's dividend policy, legislation or regulations that may affect the co, etc.
Drive agendas, plan and project manage large scale annual meeting with shareholder, and other regular engagements.
Min. 7 years of relevant work experience
Recognised Degree qualification in Finance /Economics /Business /Engineering, with additional major in Mass Communications/Marketing a bonus
Candidates with both public and private sector experience would be highly preferred (but this is not a must)
Strong exposure to either 1) strong credit rating/analysis or debt/DCM experience gained with FIs. Or you have exposure in IR and corporate finance/treasury gained with large conglomerates
Experience with key stakeholder engagement.
Confident and has the executive presence to deal with senior management
Enjoys working on a large variety of topics and considers himself/herself a generalist
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Strong in command of English and Chinese (given the global coverage including China).
Experience in running large scale events (e.g. IPOs or bond holders' meetings) advantageous
Numerate, analytical and comfortable with numbers
Excellent PowerPoint skills, including basic PowerPoint animation
Creative and with strong attention to details & colours
A self-starter attitude, adaptable, teachable, able to multi-task well in a fast-paced environment
Good team player with the ability to build meaningful relationships with all stakeholders.
