Key skills and experience:
Strong hands on development/programming background (Ideally Java but other OO languages are relevant)
Experience managing developers in a front office environment and assessing code quality
Passionate technologist who is comfortable spending the majority of time working on hands on code, design and architecture
Mastery of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
Command of architecture, design and business processes
Strong front office business exposure, working directly with traders, quants, portfolio managers etc
Strong product knowledge ideally in Equities E.g. Portfolio Construction or Research
Proven record of technology leadership with awareness of full stack platforms (e.g. Java server side, Databases, HTML 5 front end etc)
