The role of an equity analyst is to analyze financial data and public records of companies, and use this analysis to determine the value of the company's stock and to predict the company's future financial picture. Strong analytical and problem solving skill is helpful and familiarity with financial modelling and valuation will be necessary.
To provide regular market views on the Indian equity market
To generate thematic ideas on the Indian equity market and on key sectors
To work closely with other analysts for global and sector thematic reports and ideas
To identify key trends in the Indian market and communicate these trends and ideas
To help organize and participate in equity forums and conferences
To cover big capitalization Indian companies
To cover selective Singapore stocks
CFA is preferred
A basic degree in Economics, Business Administration, Accountancy or Mathematics is preferred
At least 8 to 15 years of relevant experience Reporting To Head of Equity Research Team 2
