As a Wealth Planner, you will offer bespoke banking and investment solutions to Ultra High/High Net Worth clients across the country. Both Private Bankers and Wealth Planners work with clients to provide a world class range of investment solutions and products across all asset classes, wealth structuring, lending and banking services. You will be supported by dedicated experts from across the firm. This access and support represents a unique opportunity for senior Wealth Planners to further develop their career within a high quality environment.
You will serve as a technical, marketing and developmental expert and resource on matters of estate and financial planning, both for prospects and client relationships. You will work closely with Relationship Managers, Trust Advisors, Investment Advisors, Banking Advisors, and market management. Ultimate goals are to assist in the acquisition of new clients; retain, expand, and deepen existing relationships; and develop talent in yourself and other service partners. Outstanding communication skills are a must, as this position involves meeting with clients and prospects on an almost daily basis. You will also be expected to use your networking skills to identify and attract high net worth clients and develop focused strategies to create and expand relationships with centers of influence. As part of one of the largest and most respected planning groups in the wealth management industry, you will work with an exceptionally bright and credentialed group of planners and with other advisors in a team-oriented environment. You will be expected to stay current in planning developments, publish in professional journals, and maintain all continuing education for licenses and certifications relevant to the position.
Professional experience preferable in a law firm or in a financial institution or Family Office or Trust Company
Knowledge in the area of tax, private international law and cross border structuring, inheritance and family law
Good understanding of client mentality and business culture in the Asia region
Strong ability to make research and comprehensive due diligence of individuals and structures
In depth knowledge and experience of a broad spectrum of financial planning instruments, trust, private trust companies
Relevant industry accreditation such as STEP, and knowledge of regional languages would be an added advantage
