The Location: Hong Kong
The Impact: You will be part of the team to provide key stakeholders with our value-added "credit story" on governments and related entities through insightful opinions and strong analysis. You will perform in-depth credit analysis and support the delivery of analytical insight to internal and external audiences in an international working environment.
Perform credit analysis on local and regional governments based on S&P Global Ratings' methodology with a focus on Greater China
Support senior analysts to deliver presentations and participate in meetings with government officials, senior management of related entities clients and rating users
Support the production of entity specific reports and market commentaries in a fast paced environment with publication deadlines
Contribute in global and regional analytical projects and working groups
Articulate analytical findings and recommendations in a logical and coherent manner
Demonstrate service excellence and professionalism towards external and internal clients
What we're looking for:
Bachelor degree in Economics, Finance and/or Accounting or a related subject,
Holder of CFA Designation is preferable
1-2 years of research or relevant analytical experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, and Mandarin
Good knowledge of APAC's financial markets, governmental systems and regulatory environment
Strong numeric skills with knowledge in financial analysis and accounting
Self-driven, energetic and proactive
Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and a busy environment
Ability to work in a team-oriented, global, multi-cultural environment
