The GWIM Investment Solutions and Client Onboarding Services group is looking to expand its Dublin Operation through Financial Data Services Limited (FDS) providing unique and interesting opportunities that have a direct impact on the overall client experience. An exciting opportunity as a GWIM Senior Operations Analyst is available for a talented individual to work in a dynamic growing environment.
ATS International Transfers supports the timely initiation and verification of International client account transfers to and from other financial institutions using various international settlement methods. The team are responsible for supporting and maintaining a team environment which meets department standards.
As a GWIM Senior Operations Analyst your main responsibilities will involve:
Answering incoming phone calls from branch offices for Non US /US - Resident Clients
Review, evaluation, monitoring and reporting of account transfer requests
Ensuring transfer requests are initiated accurately and in accordance with National Securities Clearing Corporation and other regulatory agencies, rules and regulations
Ensuring the integrity of the assets of the firm are always protected by monitoring the receipt/delivery of assets and accounts to and from other financial institutions in an expeditious manner
Provide a high level of quality service, support, and responsiveness to clients of Merrill Lynch, internal clients, and communicate effectively with outside financial firms
Recognize, research and resolve problems, which can result in monetary or integrity loss to the firm and other financial institutions
Making proactive calls to the branch office and contra firms to ensure the transfers are completed in a timely fashion
Daily updates on all transfers to assure quality service is being provided to the client
Providing updates within 24-48 hours, on all research updates
Submission of updates to Management through weekly highlights
Participation in projects and special assignments, as requested on a periodic basis
As a GWIM Senior Operations Analyst your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
Solid organization skills and proven ability/experience in multi-tasking in order to maintain performance during peak times. Ability to produce quality work within tight timeframes
Flexibility to work in an evolving environment as automation of processes and reorganization of process flows are implemented to achieve efficiencies
Excellent applied knowledge of Excel
Basic knowledge of financial transaction processing
Perform in a proactive and strategic manner
Previous mutual fund experience is a plus
Previous global markets settlements experience is a plus
Excellent communication skills in order to effectively interface with business partners and Branch Office personnel.
