Want to be part of a dynamic, positive risk culture? Here in our Bromley office we are looking for a dedicated and talented Quantitative Analyst to join our Model Standards and Oversight (MSO) team. You will focus on improving all aspects of GRA's model documentation, including writing standards, technical exposition, content automation, infrastructure standardisation and review processes.
This is a meaningful and intellectually stimulating role, offering exposure to an extensive set of models across all areas of risk and drawing on a variety of skills. You will possess the mathematical skills necessary to understand the underlying models; excellent writing and interpersonal skills to produce and advise on model documentation, plus the ability to exert broad influence.
Global Risk Management is responsible for implementing meaningful risk management measures which include: establishing policies, standards and risk management programmes; assessing programme adherence; providing company-level risk oversight; monitoring and reporting systemic and emerging risk issues; and ensuring risk profiles remain within specified limits and align with the company's risk appetite.
What will your main responsibilities involve?
Improve standards for GRA's model documentation
Standardise the infrastructure used by GRA to produce model documentation
Influence GRA's broad variety of teams to improve their model documentation standards
Automate and standardise GRA's documentation processes
Provide mentorship to key partners to improve documentation processes
Review and edit critical, regulatory model documentation submissions
Help build appropriate skillsets within GRA's modelling teams
What skills and qualifications will you ideally possess?
Degree educated (or equivalent experience); with a mathematical or technical background helpful
Ability to produce technical documentation of a quantitative nature
Deep understanding of a broad range of finance models
You can influence and mentor business partners
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to apply Excel, VBA, LaTeX and SDLC tools such as JIRA would be helpful
You take pride in your work; promoting operational excellence
Demonstrates Analytical skills
