Our Analysts & Associates support and lead the origination & execution of transactions for Financial Institutions Groups, covering leading banks, insurers, asset managers, financial technology and specialty finance companies, across Latin America and US, Europe and Asia for financial institutions with interests in Latin America. The analyst would have exposure to M&A (mostly cross border), ECM, DCM and structured lending.
Specific responsibilities include:
A challenging role where you would support the execution and solicitation of FIG transactions
The chance to develop a technical skillset through performing valuations, financial modelling, capital structure and financial returns analysis
Due diligence awareness: Conduct accounting, business, financial and regulatory due diligence
A team culture where you will work alongside client executives, lawyers, accountants and market consultants to lead and execute M&A, capital markets and general advisory transactions
A strong communication environment whereby you will prepare and present materials such as information memorandums and presentations
Analysis: Performing valuations, financial modeling, credit, capital structure and financial returns analysis.
Communications: Preparing and presenting internal and client's materials such as information memorandums and presentations for boards of directors, internal review committees and solicitations (pitches).
Due diligence: Conducting accounting, business, financial and regulatory due diligence.
Coordination: Organizing teams of bankers, supervise and review analyst's work, coordinate with internal and external lawyers, accountants, and client executives to draft legal agreements and regulatory filings such as a prospectus or an offering circular during drafting sessions.
You have fluency in English and an ability to speak, read and write Spanish.
You have acute analytical skills and quantitative skills.
You have strong communications skills and ability to liaise at all levels.
You have excellent PC skills with advanced knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
You possess strong drive for performance with business entrepreneurship qualities, demonstrating leadership capabilities.
