Our client is an international asset management firm with an international presence. To cope with their business expansion, they are seeking an outstanding candidate to join them.
The Senior Investment Liaison provides support, at an advanced level, to investment teams, including Portfolio Managers and Portfolio Specialists. Act as a conduit for Investments, supports all stages of the client life cycle by leveraging deep business and technical knowledge to manage the most complex investment-related, operational activities. Ensure operational readiness of client portfolios, partnering with analytical support teams, informing key stakeholders of changes to portfolios, and facilitating complex investment strategy changes. As the operational point of contact for Investments and advanced subject matter expert for assigned investment strategies, uses sound business judgment to ensure operational readiness of proprietary products and client portfolios. Enables the investment process through analyzing cash flows, communicating corporate action decisions, executing the most complex discretionary trades, etc.
Create and ensure accuracy of portfolio-level data and analysis to support most complex investment decisions and client inquiries. Identify trends and, working with appropriate partners, develop and implement new reporting and analysis to meeting changing Investment or client needs. Responsible for ensuring accuracy, resolving discrepancies, and timely distribution of attribution and risk data and customized portfolio information. Identify key trends for the investment strategy based upon regular interaction with Investments. Develop ad hoc, non-standard analysis using custom benchmarks, custom asset diversifications, and non-standard returns to support sales and client retention. Involved with product development, including analyzing investment guidelines, participating in product launch task forces, and is responsible for updating portfolio models for new investment products and conducting scenario analysis for multi-sector/asset allocation products. Facilitate timely resolution of the most complex investment-related issues to minimize risk and compliance errors. Ensure investment decisions and client portfolios adhere to regulatory policies, industry standards, and compliance guidelines.
To qualify for the position, you should be a Degree holder with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience. Advanced understanding of investment principles, asset classes and financial markets. Strong written and verbal communication skills.Advanced knowledge of accounting, trading, performance, and risk concepts. Demonstrated advanced analytical and quantitative modeling skills to develop new reporting that enhance the investment process. Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in investment and regulatory reporting.
