DACH FinTech Sales / Business Development Manager (German speaking) - Buy Side / Investment SaaS Solutions

Our client is a well respected and dynamic Global technology provider of SaaS / Cloud based front, middle and back office solutions for the financial markets, with a well established European operation and client base across Europe. Their clients already include many leading investment banks, asset managers and hedge funds, and they're expanding by appointing a senior business development professional to play a lead role in expanding their asset management client base across Europe. In particular they are seeing significant growth potential in the DACH region where they have some clients already, and consequently ready to make more of a concerted push to increase regional market share.

You'll have the autonomy to develop your own business development strategy for the company, truly own the DACH sales strategy the company will implement, co-ordinate with product management in order to ensure product functionality meets local market needs, and as you execute sales to meet revenue goals you'll be supported by a strong marketing and pre-sales consulting team. All together this creates a very interesting, autonomous and impactful regional role to build out the DACH market, and reap the personal career and financial rewards this will bring.
Appropriate sales professionals will bring : > Experience and track record selling either front, middle and/or back office financial technology, data or research solutions to the buy side (doesn't matter if institutional asset managers, wealth managers and/or hedge funds etc). > A strong understanding of the asset management landscape, and business drivers for the DACH region. You'll have experience of and know what it takes to successfully sell in german speaking countries, with an appreciation for cultural and long term business partner building approaches. > A consultative solutions sales approach, with the ability to articulate and sell a business benefit type proposition clearly. > Strong sales process management skills, be entrepreneurial in outlook and fluent in German and English.
