Regional Solution Sales are trusted advisors to multinational corporate clients for complex cash management, treasury and working capital, and trade services across the Asia Pacific region.
Located in Singapore, the successful candidate will work in the experienced Consumer and Healthcare sector sales team creating tailored cash and trade solutions to meet the objectives of sophisticated corporates
Key objective is to increase penetration of the Bank's TTS services within the existing regional client base as well as acquiring new clients for the Bank across GSG and Asian TTLC client segments. The candidate will need to very quickly develop into an expert on Cash Management and Trade product solutions across Asia region
Citi TTS is the premier provider of banking solutions to some of the world's biggest companies. The successful candidate will have fun interacting with leaders in treasury, finance, and operations at GSG and Corporate bank names for regional solutions
Deal Origination - accountable for identifying new opportunities within a portfolio of clients Prospecting new business opportunities through leveraging Citi's global banking network
Pipeline management - maintain robust deal pipeline through origination to deal closure and implementation project kick-off, with a net overall increase in pipeline
evenue Retention - Proactive retention and growth of revenues through analysis of decliners / incliners.
Revenue Realisation - Ensure that deals won ramp up to full booked value through accurately scoping client requirements and handing off effectively to Product Sales to close the deal and Implementation project resources to progress to client project signoff
Partner with the Product Sales team, Proposal team, GSG coverage and Global Solution Sales across Citi's network to respond to client tenders and provide holistic, tailored solutions in RFP and non-RFP situations
Be familiar with TTS positioning from marketing materials and effectively incorporate into client communication (written / verbal). Champion 'best practices' for effective selling
Keep abreast of market trends through continuous interaction with clients, coverage and product. Actively participate in, and promote client attendance at leading Citi client events such as Treasury and Finance Conferences, eCommerce client events, Treasury Leadership Forums and SSC forums around Asia
Actively participate in industry workshops, conferences and Citi events. Demonstrate thought leadership through client testimonials, case studies, award submissions, and industry articles
Pro-actively provide feedback to internal stakeholders and partners to drive new product development and innovation. Promote and organise tours of Citi's centers of excellence, innovation labs, and Cybersecurity
Development opportunity: High level of internal exposure to Senior TTS, GSG and IB Leadership team; external interaction with Finance and Treasury has also lead to senior external roles
Travel: 30% outside of the office visiting decision makers in Singapore, around the region and globally
Possess deep knowledge of transaction banking products and services within a Financial Institution
Minimum 5 years of relevant solution sales, product sales, business development or product management experience preferred
Proven track record in sales or product management of cash management, trade, and / or technology based consulting solutions.
Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and inter-personal skills
Persuasive, inquisitive, pro-active, and articulate in asking questions and enthusiasm to learn
Strong team player that interacts well with service, implementation, product and coverage partners
Self-starter with strong organizational, time-management and planning skills
Requires the ability to synthesize inter-related data points into a single, flowing solution within tight timeline
Graduation required; MBA preferred
Strong familiarity with corporate financial statements i.e. annual reports, Microsoft applications i.e. Power Point, Excel and working knowledge of innovation in technology and processes in banking and our clients
Ability to understand client's needs, map to product capabilities and develop solutions in competitive landscape
