Join the sales effort in Singapore, Asia Pacific to lead/develop the Electronic offerings in Fixed Income(Credit and G10 Rates) for Citi in Asia. Working between Sales/Trading and external Trading platform providers you will be responsible for expanding Citi's footprint across Asia and ensure Citi is at the forefront in the Electronic Trading market in Asia for fixed income. In this role, the salesperson will collaborate closely with the trading desk heads to set electronic product strategy and to provide market intelligence to maximize client inquiry. As part of your role you will focus on providing low-touch client coverage to a diverse set of customers (banks, hedge funds, asset managers, insurance companies, pension funds and Sovereign wealth funds). You will also be responsible to hunt for new clients through networking events/conferences and onboard them towards Citi's electronic trading solutions. Key Responsibilities:
Maintain Citi's leading market share in the G10 and Credit electronic trading space
Maximize monthly electronic inquiry share on each platform and increases electronic customer base
Develop and maintain relationships with key clients on their electronic execution
Design analytics to track ecommerce activity and identify trends
Prospect for new clients and initiate the sales process to onboard them
Gather market intelligence on the electronic landscape and facilitate discussions with senior leaders on potential disruptive impacts
Represent Citi in industry organizations and regulatory working groups focused on e-commerce
Understanding of the Fixed Income market structure across Pan-Asia
Knowledge of current Financial Regulations and their impacts on fixed income execution (Dodd Frank, MiFid, MRNCCD)
Familiarity with the technology around electronic execution platforms (connectivity, functionality) and SEF regulations
Experience in a Sales/Client Facing role from a bank or multi-dealer platform provider
Experience using data sets to solve problems and identify pattern
Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships both internally and externally
Possesses strong organizational skills with a close attention to detail
A self-starter who takes ownership and accountability
Collaborative, team oriented, and service oriented
Fluency in English (Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese is an advantage given that you may interact with individuals speaking these languages)
