The Talent Development Team plays an integral role in strategizing, scoping, and implementing talent development solutions for internal business clients. Through close collaboration with HR Generalists and the Global Talent Development team, we consult and advise on effective talent development solutions that help business leaders achieve their short- and long-term goals.
Partnering with HR Generalists to strategize, develop and implement commercial learning and development solutions, which meet each business unit's objectives
Design, development and execution of talent development initiatives to support the leadership programmes in EMEA
Liaison with global teams to ensure alignment and sharing of best practices for talent development initiatives and leadership programmes across the global business
Partnering with our internal Core Content team to ensure that training/programming delivered are consistent with Morgan Stanley's philosophy of development
Partnering with external subject matter experts, when necessary
Developing strong relationships with the HR Generalists and their clients to gain an understanding of business priorities
Working as part of a global team to identify themes, trends, and best practices
Partner with the Diversity and Inclusion team to deliver Firmwide and BU initiatives
Support wider Talent Management Projects
Skills required (essential)
Experience in a learning and development function
Highly collaborative – ability to partner with multiple colleagues to deliver commercially- oriented solutions
Strong advisory capability including consulting and influencing skills
Ability to provide practical solutions which will resonate within the MS business environment
Strong experience in design and delivery of leadership programmes
Current knowledge of leading edge trends within talent management and leadership development
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Working knowledge of the financial services industry
Degree educated or equivalent
Experience of using L&D psychometric tools such as DiSC, SDI or MBTI preferred
