We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Manager and Actuary, Modelling .
Support the design, build, and maintenance of assigned models for financial reporting, product pricing, economic capital and other actuarial analytic related purposes.
Ensure that the modelling and financial reporting work is compliance with the internal controls and risk standards, including modelling guideline, model governance frameworks, external and internal audit requirements.
Provide support to Actuarial and Risk Analytics teams and Chief Actuary Office, including implementation of new methodology and assumptions and conduct the model development and testing in accordance with Group standards.
Support other ad hoc projects
Ensure a robust and smooth model development process and execute appropriate enhancement on the day to day work flow.
Provide solutions and timely response upon request from different parties
Supervise and conduct training to junior staff.
University graduate in Actuarial Science, Statistics or related discipline
Qualified actuary with proficient years of relevant experience in the actuarial department of a life insurance company with some years in a supervisory capacity
Possess solid experience in actuarial modelling with Prophet
Excellent presentation, communication, as well as proficient analytical skills
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality
