Lead, motivate and inspire a team of 40 employees in the regional commodity analytics research team to deliver integrated analysis and products that are world class and differentiated from the offerings of our competitors.
As a member of the global commodity leadership team collaborate with regional peers, the Global Head of Cross Commodity Analytics, and Product Suite Directors to develop, implement, and update an integrated strategy for WoodMac in the commodity space.
Lead the regional data and modelling team through a period of transformation as we deliver on our new data strategy and ensure we deliver unique and industry leading solutions for our clients.
Manage the sectorial P&L for the region under the guidance of the regional Head of Research, and collaborate effectively with regional Sales & Marketing and Consulting leadership to drive revenue

Content and Commercial Responsibility
Work with content leads and line managers in region to identify and deliver improvements to existing methodologies and processes that facilitate the timely and efficient delivery of high value content for our clients.
Develop a senior client and industry contact network and engage with them on the key challenges facing their companies across oils, coal, gas and LNG.
Ensure alignment of regional views across the commodity sectors and that key messages are effectively delivered to senior leadership within client companies.
Work with peers in other regions and the Global Head of Cross Commodity Analytics to ensure team alignment around messaging, commercial activity, and methodologies
Create a positive, collaborative and inclusive working environment, where free-thinking and creativity are encouraged and innovation is nurtured
Foster a high-performance, collaborative culture with high levels of client engagement
Instil client focused, commercial thinking as a driver for decision making and team activities
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will be a proven team leader in the commodity analytics space with a track record of building high performing teams. Good domain knowledge and a proven line management track record across multiple locations are important. The ideal candidate will have a track record of delivering high impact commodity research for clients (external or internal).
