My client works directly with companies to develop bespoke capital solutions that span across the entire capital structure tailored to various business objectives and specific requirements. Participating in both primary and secondary transactions, they specialize in direct lending, special situations investing, providing mid-to-late stage growth capital, and distressed restructuring
The role has to manage an open ended alternative credit fund with proven track record and will be supported by analyst and rick manager
Play a leadership role in managing an open ended fund
Screen, structure, negotiate, execute, hedge and monitor internal and external co-investment opportunities and credit portfolio purchases
Develop specific criteria and recommendations for the implementation of portfolio str5tegies
Determine appropriate legal structuring and hedging strategies and the impacts on the risk return profiles
Proactively monitor and manage the liquidity risk of the open ended fund that holds primarily illiquid positions
Establish portfolio allocation criteria and process, and regul5rly rebalance positions to keep exposures intact
Provide effective communication of recommendations and actions to stakeholders and other internal departments
Expand and manage the relationships of external investment managers who provide co-investment opportunities and credit origination platforms that syndicate credit assets
Oversee the screening memos and investment recommendations outlining highlights and risks
Provide ongoing assessment of positions based on the evolution of fundamentals, convictions and portfolio fit
Represent the fund externally and actively communicate the fund as well as the company's strategies and objectives
Years of investment experiences in credit and special situations strategies
Significant relationship management and team leading experience
Excellent understanding of professionalism, flexibility, adaptability, initiative, creativity, and self-improvement
Strong communication skills
Excellent judgement, decision making and execution capabilities
Willingness to travel
Speak very fluent Chinese (Mandarin) and English
