We are now seeking dedicated and motivated individuals to fill the position of Compliance Manager in the Compliance Department of the Hong Kong Branch.
Support the Team Leader in the day-to-day handling of matters fallen under AML monitoring & review (including for activities in relation to PEP, OAC, Periodic Review, AMLC, MAS, etc.);
Perform periodic client account review on existing clients;
Perform transaction monitoring on client accounts;
Perform clearance on PEP and adverse news screening;
Assist in preparing AML committee agenda;
Develop, maintain, review and enhance AML & compliance related policies and procedures as well as proper control to ensure that the Bank's activities are in compliance with the latest regulatory requirements;
Participate in the Bank's ad-hoc compliance projects and provide compliance support;
Handle staff enquiries on internal policies and procedures;
Handle staff enquiries on internal rules and compliance issues.
University degree with at least 5 years compliance experience;
Prior working experience in KYC, AML and other regulatory aspects in the banking industry, experience in private banking will be an asset;
Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese;
Positive and self-motivated;
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
