We Offer This role supports the IBD the Mergers & Acquisitions group (M&A) in New York. The role primarily involves providing junior level support to deal teams. Role will assist bankers and clients on live deal executions across all industry and transaction sizes.
Provide day-to-day support on live M&A mandates
Travel to clients' facilities to chaperone plants tours / site visits
Draft "Confidential Information Memorandums" / marketing materials
Hands-on management of the due diligence process (i.e., data room management, Q&A process, call scheduling, etc.)
Attend management presentations to provide on-site support
Ad-hoc projects relating to specific M&A concepts / trends within the industry depending on current market environment, relevance to prospective or current clients, and firm's overall efforts
You Offer Requirements: Interested candidates must have a degree from a reputable four-year college or university with relevant coursework in business, finance and / or accounting. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of and a strong passion for the financial markets and M&A; In addition, the candidate must possess:
Good quantitative skills
Basic business and financial understanding
Creative problem solving abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Able to work under pressure in a time sensitive environment
Ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail
Excellent PC skills; advanced knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint is crucial
