You will support the General Manager, Risk Operations to develop and deliver strategy, optimising Risk Data to create sustainable outcomes of value to customers and shareholders.

Risk Strategy and Optimisation forms part of the Group Risk Management function supporting the Group Chief Risk Officer (GCRO) and Business Unit Chief Risk Officers who execute the outcomes of Risk in the most effective way for the organisation.
The Risk Operations team supports a number of activities across the Risk Management function: monitoring and measuring performance; identification and delivery of optimisation opportunities; capability development and delivery of key strategic projects.
On any given day you will
Establish a strategy and capability to optimally manage and leverage Risk Data, including implementing a data management and analytics framework across Risk Management, adding strategic input to reference architectures and targeting operating model design (models, analytics, reporting)
Establish Data Management standards across Risk Management with alignment to Group data strategy and standards
Monitor Risk management compliance with Group standards
Action regulatory response and coordination regarding Risk data
Development of data dictionaries and taxonomies
Delivery alignment, including active participation in project delivery & investment spend prioritisation across Risk Management

Are tertiary qualified in a finance, business, IT or legal discipline
Sound understanding of Risk Management processes coupled with strong insights into the banking sector
Strong coaching and mentoring experience, with proven success

Proven track record of driving/implementing business priorities
High level of personal integrity with strong interpersonal, collaboration, influencing and negotiating skills
