Enterprise Infrastructure (EI) is that global technology group that delivers the software and hardware technology solutions that make our businesses run. The team manages the production, operations, and engineering of our data centers, voice and data networking solutions, wireless technologies, server and database operations, desktops, servers and mainframes.
Within EI, Enterprise Network Services (ENS) Department is responsible for a complex multi-platform global voice and data network that supports a world-leading financial services company by providing electronic communication products & services to people and places. ENS is a global department composed of Architecture, Engineering, Operations and Instrumentations Teams.
This position is part of the ENS Automation Team which is working on a variety of development projects, concentrating on self-service tools to automate and optimize various configurations and service delivery tasks related to Morgan Stanley's data and voice infrastructure.
Primary responsibilities - You will develop and enhance web applications and backend services related to the global voice and data network infrastructure of Morgan Stanley - You will have the opportunity to work in a geographically diverse team with colleagues from New York, to work on enterprise systems with users across the globe, using several program languages and technologies that you can get
acquainted with. These are business critical systems used 24/7, therefore, you will have the opportunity to make impact on the business
Skills required - Solid experience with Python - Experience in Linux/Unix/Apache environment - Ability to work with customers, gather requirements, and own the task of finding solutions - Solid understanding of change management processes
