The team is responsible for managing the 1st Line Risk activities for the most dynamic and profitable areas of the bank across business and commercial banking. This is a Manager role responsible for managing the risks surrounding new product changes across an ever evolving product set. Due to recent restructures additional headcount has been put in place which includes a number of roles at the Manager level and would suit a proactive risk & compliance individual looking for a broad role with a very wide remit.
Key Role specifics include;
* Sound in providing sound and specialist Risk advice to the business * Be part of a newly created team of Risk professionals across the 1st Line of Defence within Business Banking * Ensure ongoing implementation of the Risk & Compliance Management frameworks * Partner with the 2nd line of defence appropriate product teams to ensure compliance plans are adhered to across the business * Manage ongoing change projects from a regulatory perspective across the BAU function
Skills and experience;
* 5+ years Operational Risk/Compliance Management experience across Financial Services or a consulting firm. * Excellent Stakeholder management skills * Superb interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills. * Relevant tertiary qualifications
