The Fidelity China business is entering into a new phase of development given the establishment of a WFOE in Shanghai in late 2015 and subsequently receiving the WFOE PFM qualification from AMAC in January 2017. The WFOE PFM business once again demonstrates Fidelity's commitment to the development of the Chinese asset management market and our desire to further expand our presence in China.
Purpose of your role
The Business Analyst position is to support and assist the Country Head and Beijing Chief Representative in developing and implementing Fidelity's WFOE strategy, maintaining a strong pulse on latest business trends & regulatory environments in the financial sector as well as assisting in business development & government relationship development and maintenance.
Facilitate the development of Fidelity's China strategy and be part of the core team to execute on the WFOE implementation plan
Take part in the product development process of the WFOE and support marketing and sales efforts
Conduct market research and perform analysis on key market and product trends as well as new policy developments
Work with internal teams in HK and offices in other parts of the world to coordinate and resolve a wide range of issues related to different projects ranging from WFOE, mutual recognition of funds, QFII/RQFII etc
Provide on the ground support for business development activities, senior management/foreigners visits and large scale marketing & business development events in professional, tasteful and cost effective way
Prepare agenda and meeting minutes and participate in important meetings to provide translation support
Work with internal stakeholders to source key data and obtain latest internal views on issues
