Do you have an interest in Security Settlements? You will be within Securities Settlements handles the International Equity trade settlement and department daily Operation Your responsibilities will be including but not limited to below:
Perform Equities settlements in International trade settlements, including APAC domestic markets.
Perform a portion of settlement activities which include settlement pre-matching, funding with cash management teams, payment, fails management, intersystem reconciliation, nostro and depot reconciliation, monthly reporting, internal / external and specific regulatory reports.
Core day to day processes include coordination of 3rd party payments and 1-1 trade reconciliation matching
Maintain a new operational risk and control framework while offering best in class client service excellence. A client sharing agreement (CSA), also called a client commission agreement (CCA), allows a money manager to pay for execution and research separately. In a CSA/CCA, clients trade with a broker, which then pays the research provider(s) the clients designate.
Drive proactive approach to risk & controls, identifying areas of concern and remedial actions necessary
Work closely with IT and Process Change teams to ensure issues are on their agendas where appropriate
Reconciliation review, fixes for systemic breaks, completeness of rec's
Project involvement e.g. F2B Operational Efficiency projects including Current & Best Practice and Internal Trading Review.
Contribute to any new business initiatives and projects, including ideas on process improvement, and system implementation through close interaction with other functions/areas within/outside Operations (e.g., Compliance, Ops Change, Front Office, Middle Office, IT, Finance).
Develop and enforce the internal control procedures within the team to minimize operational risks.
Work with Settlement teams in other regions/locations to implement global/regional initiatives.
graduated in Finance, Economic, Banking or related professional field with exceptional grade.
to be recognised with accountancy/banking qualification with at least a 1 to 2 years of relevant experience
an understanding and working knowledge of banking operation
excellent client service and interpersonal skill
an effective verbal and written communicator, fluent in English & Mandarin, spoken and written
a fast learner with the ability to get up to speed quickly with new processes
outgoing and personable, with the confidence to deal with varied groups of stakeholders and differing levels of seniority
