We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Portfolio Construction Manager.
Under supervision of portfolio managers, conduct portfolio construction and trade planning for equities, fixed income, and multi asset mandates. The role also assists in portfolio analysis and risk assessment
In particular, the role covers trading in Single line equities, Single line bonds, Exchange traded funds, mutual funds, and hedged funds, Foreign Exchange such as forwards and spot, Interest rate futures
Follow up on trades executed, and help review fixed income trade bookings by Portfolio Management Support
Funding arrangements such as Foreign Exchange and fund transfer
Assist Portfolio Managers in preparing various research and marketing materials
University degree in business, economics or equivalent
Fundamental number of years of relevant working experience such as trade assistant, investment counsellor assistant
Strong ability in multi tasking while producing quality output with accuracy or attention to details
Strong Excel skills is a must. Knowledge of Bloomberg is preferred
Team player with a can do attitude
Qualified to be licensed as representative for types 1, 4, 5, and 9 regulated activities under the Securities and Futures Ordinance in Hong Kong, and for fund management under the Securities and Futures Act in Singapore
Fluent in English and Chinese
The chosen candidate for this role will be required to undergo enhanced vetting. Subject to local laws, this will require the individual to satisfactorily pass a series of additional checks as part of the recruitment process and on an ongoing basis, if appointed to the role.
